Sparta: Lake Mohawk homes run a mix of shallow and deep wells, and the older installs are past their service life.
Repair or replace
An 18 year old pump with a bad wire might deserve a new pump while the old one is out of the well. A three year old pump with a bad capacitor doesn't. You'll get the options and the reasoning, and the choice stays yours.
How a replacement goes
The old pump comes up with the drop pipe and wire. We check the wire and the pipe on the way up, replace what's worn, and set a new pump matched to the well's depth and the house's demand. Then the system gets tested at the tank until the pressure cycles the way it should.
What we install
Grundfos and Goulds submersible pumps, jet pumps for shallow wells, and constant pressure systems for houses that want steady pressure at every tap. When a rock or a tight casing makes the old pump hard to pull, there's often a slimmer pump that fits.
