What we do, and what we don't
Ackerman works on the part of a well you depend on every day: the pump in the ground, the pressure tank in the basement, and the switches, controls and lines that connect them. We don't drill wells. When a well needs to be drilled or deepened, Don will tell you so and point you to the right people.
How we work
Customers mention the same things in their reviews again and again. Don shows up when he says he will. He shows you what failed. When it's a twenty dollar part and not a new pump, he says so. When the pump is eighteen years old and the wire just broke, he gives you both options and lets you choose.
The truck carries the common pumps, pressure tanks and controls, so most repairs and replacements happen in one visit. The shop is on Warwick Turnpike in Hewitt, which puts most of North Jersey's well country within a short drive.
